Ok so like my friend hasn't had her period in 3 months. She's had two lab prego tests and one over the counter all negative. I reccomended she get an ultra sound just to be able to completely rule out pregnancy, but until then does anyone know what this could be. I also considered that there may be an issue with her reproduction systems so other suggestions are good too. She hasn't been traveling she is under moderate stress and does not suffer from depression. I mention all that because those were some of the causes of my missed or late periods before.

it could be an issue with her reproductive, they sometimes prescribe birth control to regulate it. Also sometimes if you are under weight your periods can stop all together because your body stops ovulating, this often happens in women with eating disorders, not saying that your friend has a eating disorder, but even under moderate stress I eat a lot less because of a lack of appetite. she should go have a pap smear done to find out what the issue is exactly. I think you can rule out pregnancy, I don't believe a ultra sound would be necessary

I had a similar experience, and eventually after I had sex again it got back on track. There was no reason for this, I wasn't particularly stressed, my doctor found no reason for this, either. If she hasn't seen her doctor, I would recommend that first and if the Dr. has no legitimate explanation, I wouldn't worry about it.
