I read that there are some new rules that kids under 14 can't travel alone. I also read that some airlines, if you pay a fee, then they can travel alone. Is this true? I'm going to Texas to Boston and the ticket websites said that I could not travel alone b/c there are new rules
Yes, some of them, but a valid responsible person has to be present at the check-in and the same on arrival. Happy Feet
This applies in your country, like if you live in Nebraska, USA and you travel to New york, then yeah you can travel alone, but If you live in Nebraska and you travel to France then you cannot travel alone. I was traveling on my own in the states since I was 12. Its not a big deal. You even get to go on first =)!!!
I believe so, and there's usually someone there watching them :]
yeah you can.
yea but u must pay more kuz the flight attendant has to take kare of u SHE HAS TO sorry i do this like twice a year
It seems like different airlines may have different rules. Some airlines require an adult to go through security with you and wait with you to the gate. Plus there may be an associated fee for minors flying alone (the fee for providing you with "extra care" on the plane).
