My husband and I want to go on a tropical vacation, any ideas?
I was thinking maybe the Dominican Republic or something but I know NOTHING about traveling! We want to go for Christmas this year. Where would you suggest we go for our vacation? Any and all tips or ideas welcome, even if it's not so tropical! :D I would love any travel tips you could give as well as we don't travel often and when we do, it's just to New Mexico or something. ( We live in Texas. ) God bless you!

Palawan, Philippines has amazing looking beaches, and I would think that a vaction to the philippines would be cheap compared to other places, sorry I don't know much about traveling I'm only 17. Oh and for now avoid Mexico at all costs they have fatal " Swine flu" there that people are dying from. :O

Sure! Try an all inclusive resort - you can find those is Mexico or Caribbean! They are SO fun & great the first time if you've never done them! If you need a good hotel package for an all inclusive, check a corporate travel broker like - they give wholesale hotel pricing for less than hotwire, for Hawaii, Mexico & Caribbean & lots of places.
cruises are very nice my cruise was probably my favorite vacation as for the location, pick wherever you like its always fun to try new places and it is always a fun vacation if your with someone you enjoy =)
Stay away from Mexico - try the Caribbean! The Bahamas are always incredible, people are friendly, gorgeous scenery whether you like rustic jungle or tropical beaches, temperate weather & water! It's very hard to beat the Bahamas, it's like a stress free zone! I have also used a recommended site before & it's true, they do have amazing deals on all inclusive resorts or also for 8 day packages if you're looking to travel longer - you won't find a better deal for a higher quality resort than that site I guarantee it!
